About this privacy policy

Mobimilia B.V. cares about your privacy. We only process the data we need to run this website and to answer your questions, and we handle it carefully. Your data is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

This policy applies to this website, mobimilia.com. It explains what data we collect, why we use it, with whom it may be shared, how long we keep it, how we protect it and what rights you have. It is valid from 29 September 2026. When a new version is published, all previous versions stop being valid.

Each of our subscription services has its own privacy policy on its own website. That policy explains the data used when you subscribe, such as your mobile number and billing records.

Who is responsible

Mobimilia B.V., Van Diemenstraat 356, 1013 CR Amsterdam, The Netherlands (KvK 60009705), is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@mobimilia.com.

What data we collect

• Automatically collected data. When you visit this website, our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you visit and the date and time of your visit. We use this only to run, secure and improve the website.
• Data you send us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address, mobile number (if you give it) and the content of your message.
• Cookies. This website does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. See our cookie policy.

Why we use your data

We use your data only to provide this website and to handle what you ask us for, such as a question, a cancellation, a refund or a complaint. We do not use it for marketing. If we ever want to contact you about something you did not ask for, we will first ask for your explicit consent.

Legal bases (GDPR):

• running and securing the website: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f));
• answering your questions and handling your requests: taking the steps you ask for, and our legitimate interest in helping you;
• keeping records we must keep by law: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Who processes your data for us

We use external service providers for website hosting and email. They only get access to your data where needed to provide their service and technical support, they may not use it for any other purpose, and they are bound by an agreement with us to keep it safe.

We do not sell your personal data. Apart from these service providers, we only share data with mobile operators where needed to handle a cancellation or refund you ask for, and with parties that help us meet accounting and administrative obligations. All of them are bound to confidentiality by agreement, oath or law.

Transfers outside the EEA

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Cooperation in tax and criminal investigations

In some cases the law may require us to share your data with authorities to assist in a tax or criminal investigation. In such cases we must comply, but we will use the legal options available to object where appropriate.

How long we keep your data

• Technical logs: 30 days.
• Emails and requests: up to 2 years after our last contact with you.
• Emails and records about a payment or invoice: 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it.

After these periods, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Dutch and European law (the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) you have the following rights. To use any of them, email info@mobimilia.com. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to confirm your identity, and we only send copies of data to the email address you used to contact us. We respond to every request within 30 days, and we keep a record of the requests we handle.

Right of access

You can ask to see the personal data we process about you. If your request is approved, we send you a copy of that data, together with an overview of who processes it and the categories under which it is stored.

Right to rectification

You can ask us to correct personal data about you that is incorrect or incomplete. If your request is approved, we confirm by email that the data has been corrected.

Right to erasure

You can ask us to delete your personal data. We will do so unless the law requires us to keep it, for example for invoices. For a request to be forgotten, we only keep an anonymised record that the request was handled.

Right to restriction of processing

You can ask us to limit how we use your personal data. If your request is approved, we confirm by email that processing is limited until you ask us to lift the restriction.

Right to data portability

You can ask to receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format, or to have it sent to another party of your choice.

Right to object

You can object to how we, or others on our behalf, process your personal data. While we look into your objection, we stop processing the data concerned. If your objection is justified, we stop processing it for good.

Automated decisions

You have the right not to be subject to decisions based only on automated processing, including profiling. We do not make such decisions about you.

Complaints

If you believe we are mishandling your personal data, please contact us first at info@mobimilia.com. You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Changes to this policy

We may change this privacy policy. This page always shows the latest version, and the date at the top shows when it was last changed.
